Thrifty Thursday: Things you don’t need to spend money on

I came across this post about things you don’t need to buy over on Money Saving Mom recently and it got me thinking about the little ways I’ve changed my own spending habits.

Her list includes a few things I still pay for — like movies at the theater. That’s something my son and I do as a treat.

What I don’t pay for anymore are paper plates, Uncrustables for my son’s lunches (we make our own), and books (library!).

I’ll admit, after reading her list I’m wondering why I buy paper towels. Or paper napkins for that matter. I’m going to ponder that.

What are somethings you’ve stopped spending money on?
