Winter Day Camp Registration Opens Today!
Bakersfield, CA, November 1, 2012 –
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County opens registration today for the upcoming Winter Day Camp at their three traditional Clubs – Armstrong Youth Center (801 Niles Street in Bakersfield), Stockdale Club (5207 Young Street, Ste. 200 in Bakersfield) and Lamont Club (8301 Segrue Road in Lamont). Winter Day Camp activities vary by the Club sites but can include computer education (including robotics), fine art, dance, physical fitness (crazy kickball and basketball), nutritional cooking classes as well as fieldtrips to local attractions and as always FUN and CREATIVE activities for the children of our community!!!
The Armstrong Youth Center, Stockdale Club and Lamont Club’s will be open for Winter Day Camp from December 26, 2012 to December 28, 2012 and January 2, 2013 to January 4, 2013. Daily hours vary per Club site. Please contact 661-325-3730 for more information and to find the Club closest to you.
